Camp Policies (Residential Camp)

Residential Camp Policies:

Refund / Cancellation Policy
Those who cannot attend camp for medical or other reasons will be refunded all but a $50 administrative fee. To receive a refund the camp office must be notified at least 72 hours before the start of camp.
 
Meals and Housing
Residential campers will be housed in air conditioned dorms on the Ohio Dominican University campus. Campers will be housed two in a room with one roommate request accepted per application.* Residential Campers will be given 3 meals a day, while commuters will be served lunch and dinner. All meals are all-you-can-eat, and will be served in the Ohio Dominican University dining facilities. Residents will be required to provide their own linens/pillows while at the dorms and laundry facilities are located in the dorms.
 
*Both campers have to request each other as roommates in order to be assigned to a room together.

Check in / Check out
Camper registration is between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday June 19, 2016 on the campus of Ohio Dominican University. The first training session is Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The camp will conclude Thursday June 23, 2016 following the closing ceremonies at approximately Noon. Parents are welcome to attend the final day of camp for closing ceremonies at the fields.

Camp Ball
Each camper is expected to bring a soccer ball at camp.

 

Room Keys

Each camper will receive a room key at check-in which will be needed throughout the duration of camp.  At check-out campers will return their key.  If the key is not turned in, there will be a $200 charge due to the need to re-keying of the dorm room which will be paid to Ohio Dominican University.


Camp Insurance
Parents are expected to provide a copy of the primary medical insurance for their child.

 
Athletic Trainer
There will be an athletic trainer on site 24 hours a day throughout the camp tending to the health needs of each camper.
 
Camp Bank
To eliminate the need to carry cash, the camp operates a “camp bank.” Campers are asked to deposit money (average $40) into the camp bank during check-in. Then, throughout the week, campers have the option of purchasing ice cold sports drinks, water, snacks, pizza (at night) and adidas Crew gear. The camp staff will record all purchases and tell campers their daily balance. At the conclusion of camp the balance is returned to the camper.

Transportation
The Columbus International Airport is located 15 minutes from the camp. The camp will provide transportation to and from the airport at no charge. Please call 614.447.4211 for details on this service.
 
Lost and Found
The camp will not assume responsibility for lost or stolen articles. Campers should put their name on all belongings, including their soccer ball.
 
Eligibility
The camp includes programs for boys and girls ages 9 - 13
